2010

Foundation Established

Hemlata Foundation was established with a vision to empower women across Bihar and UP.

2013

1000 Women Empowered

Our first major milestone โ€” 1000 women trained in vocational skills.

2016

National Recognition

Received the National Award for Excellence in Women Empowerment from the Ministry of WCD.

2019

Digital Literacy Program

Launched rural women digital literacy program in 50 villages.

2022

10,000 Lives Changed

Crossed the milestone of 10,000 direct beneficiaries across 3 states.

2024

Platform Launch

Launched our own technology platform to scale impact across India.

Founder & President

Dr. Hemlata Sharma is a social activist and educator with over 20 years of experience working for rural development and women empowerment in Rajasthan.

Secretary General

Rajendra has a background in public administration and has been instrumental in expanding the Foundation's reach to 30+ villages.

Priya oversees all education and health programs and has directly impacted over 5,000 families through targeted interventions.

Treasurer

A retired chartered accountant, Mohan ensures transparent financial management and compliance for all Foundation activities.

Community Programs Coordinator

Aarti brings 8 years of grassroots community organizing experience across Katihar and Araria districts. She oversees the foundation's self-help group network of 180 groups and coordinates the tribal women's cooperative program.
